    How do I choose the right fitting diameter?

    Selecting the correct fitting diameter is crucial to the correct installation of the structure. Remember that there are two types of diameter:

    • Nominal diameter (DN): Approximate internal diameter, specified in mm or inches according to European standards.
    • Effective diameter (outer diameter, d): Exact outer diameter that is easy to measure.

    We recommend using the metric system for a more precise fit. In our range you will find fittings suitable for pipes with outer diameters: 21.3 mm, 26.9 mm, 33.7 mm, 42.4 mm, 48.3 mm and 60.3 mm. With the help of the graphic below, you will select the correct fitting sizes for the structural pipe diameters.
